While fostering kittens for "Friends of Strays", I was just getting over the heartache of returning three beautiful kittens to the shelter for adoption when I was introduced to my next special project. Two little faces, crying for attention, abused, their fur shaved in a line from the top of their head to the tip of their tail, stole my heart. To hold them was to feel every bone in their bodies. These two little souls, who experienced such a hard start in life, are now an integral part of our family. The gentleness of their play and love in their touch truly brings joy to me everyday.
